Salsa Tiempo – Dance Class
Marsh Academy Leisure Centre
Friday evenings at Marsh Academy Leisure Centre Beginners 7pm-8pm Improvers 8.15pm-9.15pm Tuesday evenings at The Grand, Folkestone. Beginners 7pm-8pm Improvers 8.15pm-9.15pm only £6 per class! Take the “Work” out of workout and replace it with “Fun”! Dance burns as many calories as traditional exercise and relieves stress. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace so they feel comfortable and if they have any injuries there is an alternative. Set yourself up for success and anything is possible. Go to any Salsa club and you will see arms swinging, people gyrating and lots of fun being had. It’s not only the music, but the feeling you get when you are dancing. If you are a Man and thinking of coming to a class, ‘great’. This is for people who have never danced before. You will find it friendly and inviting, and as there are usually more women than men so you will be in great demand.
SATURDAY
SUNDAY

Lydd “Marsh Harriers” Majorettes
Lydd Community Hall, Manor Rd. Lydd
10am to 12noon
Majorettes are found in parades, carnivals and fates. They also use pompoms, flags and ribbon batons in their routines. Some majorettes use special equipment such as glow batons, fire batons, hoop batons. Majorettes troupes are very popular, and being a majorette is a common hobby for children. Some Troupes belong to federations such as the British Isles Majorette Association, which have set rules and grades. Non-federation majorettes tend to learn more team dance moves, as opposed to solo baton tricks, and have competitions in the summer months, Which are held on recreation grounds and are open to the public. Come and Try Baton Twirling For more info visit our web-site www.freewebs.com/lydd-twirlers
