St Nicholas Primary School in New Romney has a new IT suite.

It was officially opened by the former Mayor Councillor Barbara Palmer. It is expected the new facility will be a great benefit to the pupils and staff, as well as the community at large.

Councillor Palmer said it was wonderful that it had put forward for the pilot scheme for the Shepway Cluster Group and had been accepted.

"As a Pilot Kent Community School, it should be a focal point for a range of educational, cultural, sport, family and community services for pupils, their families and the wider communit," she said.
