New plans are being discussed to develop
the Country Fayre into a week long festival of arts, sports
and film shows.
The Country Fayre committee, who are looking for more local
groups to become involved in the festival week, are keen
to develop the existing Country Fayre with various events
such as drive-in movies, a bat & trap competition and
concerts.
All events registered with the committee will also be promoted
through the festival's promotional campaign, including the
festival programme, press releases and through local TV
and radio.
Groups who would like to become involved with the festival,
which is aimed at bringing the community together through
social events and focusing on the positive aspects of the
