Marsh Ink Writers' Group
The Marsh Ink Writers' Group was formed to
encourage new writers to get their work published and
meet other writers and published authors. The group
meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Assembly Rooms in New Romney, from 7.30 to 9.30pm. New members
and visitors are always welcome, and the group's president
is the author Pamela Oldfield.

Friday of every month at Southlands School. With the

We are Grasshopper Junior football club,we are based
on the marsh and provide football for local kids,to
date we have 178 signed on and enjoying the sport. our

Marsh Harriers Majorette Troupe
We train every Sunday, 10am to 12noon at The Scout &
Guide Hut, Dennes Lane, Lydd, Romney Marsh. We ask members
to pay a fee of £1.50 per training session. This
money goes towards hall hire and running cost. Membership

We represent Romney Marsh in Kent by performing
at Events and Carnivals in both Kent and East Sussex
thrilling the crowd’s wherever we go with our
Marching, Baton twirling, Ribbon twirling and Pompom
routines.
